We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was spacious, comfortable, and easily met our needs, which was a big plus. The location is excellent. Walmart, Target, Hy-Vee, and several restaurants are all within walking distance, and Fort Frenzy, an arcade and family entertainment center, is located directly behind the hotel. The only complaint I had was the room was not clean. Hair in the sink and tub. No staff available to lean this we were told. We booked on Hotel.com. That meant the actual room cost was $30 more than booking on the Brookstone site. Nothing could be done to address the dirty room and inflated price because didn’t book on the Brookstone site.

Very nice hotel the only thing was when we got there the front seat person was in the bathroom for a while but other then that the hotel was nice room was very nice

The best thing about this place was the location. It was close to my mothers house. If I could give it a lower rating then one star, I would. This place was horrible, the staff were rude and borderline disrespectful. After checking in, we discovered our bathtub have a very large crack in the bottom of the tub. Needless to say, the tub leaked so bad, we had to be moved to another room. The young women who moved us, acted like we were annoying her when we told her about the crack. I've stayed at Brookstone Inn and Suites during both of my weekend visits to Visit Fort Dodge, and each stay has been excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is outstanding, and I always get a great night's sleep. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is its support for local artists-their work is beautifully displayed throughout the lobby, adding a special hometown touch to the experience.
