Hotel room was newish, but service wasn’t great. Toilet was very obviously dirty when we arrived, front desk attendant took a smoke break right when we arrived, which led to us waiting at the desk for 10 Minutes before we could check in. The phone rang in lobby continuously for the duration of our breakfast on the first day, with seemingly no one there to pick it up.
2 of the ladies that worked nights were rude, 1acted like she didn't want to be bothered when my daughter in-law ask for more towels. Mold on bottom of curtains, we had no maid service, no clean towels. Woman at front desk told us "For your information you have to ask for maid service". The sign on front desk says "if you need extra towels you need to request it". We had 2 rooms, room 208 and 222. Date we arrived here was 5-1-2025 and check out was 5-4-2025. We were in town for a funeral.
Best hotel in Fort Dodge area. I’ve stayed in nearly all the other large chain hotels, and this one blows the others out of the water with cleanliness and service. The breakfast was okay, just a little low on hot food stock (eggs and sausage). I’ll be staying here from now on when I visit Fort Dodge.
Rooms are nice and spacious..fridge , microwave ..Large bathroom .. slept like a baby each night . Decent breakfast. Staff was very accommodating and friendly .. Many places to eat nearby , Walmart , Fort Frenzy within walking distance.
WOW?? EVEN NOW, TODAY, AS I PULL UP GOOGLE RATING?? 05/14/25 -- LISTED AS 2 STAR??! 0n 03/09, after ONLY living in THIS TOWN for 10 months, and NEVER traveling to this part of town.. I was trying to get to GodFather's Pizza to treat myself for dinner. I pulled in the parking lot to ask for directions, as according to the outside marque, it was close by.
