This was a beautiful experience. I teach hospitality management at an American university and even I learned about what real hospitality feels like. Heather at the front desk made our experience full of kindness and care. She personally walked us around the hotel giving us touch points and moments that we will cherish. Returning to my absolute favorite place in Bangkok after 8 years has been an absolute dream. It completely lived up to our expectations, maintaining the exact same luxurious and peaceful atmosphere we remembered. First time in Bangkok and we chose The Athenee Hotel because we wanted somewhere quiet but still close to the BTS Skytrain, Phloen Chit station is just a short walk away, which was super convenient. The hospitality we received was truly top notch. From first entering the lobby to the reception, every staff member made us feel welcomed. Love this hotel. Stayed 2x and really love it. Nice luxurious rooms, great lounge with tea time and dinner at happy hour. Service is great too and I love that they have so many activities within the hotel even though we never get to enjoy them at least they are available. The hotel is a bit pricy but if you are looking for luxury it’s a nice option. I think not wish the bath tubs were soak tubs vs standard rectangular ones.
