Rooms were average; there was some staining on the walls that I had noticed but the bedsheets and important things seemed cleaned. No street parking so I had to valet my rental car for $50 a night. Came in late from a flight and ate some dinner at the Mei restaurant which was really good (hot, fresh, and the staff was very accommodating). Staff at the hotel were friendly and communicative. Overall, not a bad stay for the night

Stayed here over new years. Some of the sheets had blood and mud on them (which they only gave us replacements for, didnt even take the bad ones out of the room). The bathroom drain would not stay open, and would clog. Front desk did not seem to care at all, blaming Expedia rather than trying to make the experience better themselves.

Everyone was very friendly & helpful. I would recommend valet parking unless you want to walk 2 blocks. It's $58/night & you can come & go. It's about a 10 min walk to Museum Campus. 20ish min walk to Millennium Park. Everything was very clean. We were only able to book a double Double bed room. It was very small & the beds were not comfortable. There were only a few inches between the corner of the bed & the wall to get out of the room. Good place for a roadside hotel. Clean, quiet, friendly, safe, and the included buffet breakfast was very good American breakfast fair. There was a pool and hot tub as well as a gym. If I had the time or energy they would have been very good. There was even a small business center to do a little work and printing. Good complimentary coffee to go capped of our restful stay and fueled the road ahead. You could certainly do a lot worse than this hotel.

Let me start off by saying we chose Best Western Grant Park Hotel for it's location which was phenomenally close to the two places we were in Chicago to visit. That, the amazing view from our room (802), and the kind staff are the plusses from our visit. The rest is downhill. If you're looking for a quiet room, this isn't it.
