First and most importantly, our rooms were very clean. They are slightly worn and outdated pieces throughout but the bathroom was spotless and functional. The staff was very friendly throughout!! The breakfast is ok (although free!) and they do have both a waffle and pancake machine (great for the kids). The walls are thin and if you're near the side door on the bottom floor it can be quite noisy in the morning with people coming in and out of that door. You can also hear people in the next room. Quick and easy check-in. Room was nicer and larger than we expected. Hotel was relatively quiet. Breakfast was good with both pancakes and waffles, an egg choice, a breakfast meat choice, fruits, yogurts and more. Beds were comfortable, blankets were thin. Perfect spot to stay for a Gettysburg visit. Definitely would return.

Great experience overall. Breakfast lounge is on the 3rd floor (top floor) with a good view of a battlefield. Room was worth it. Beds are a little hard for my preference but seems to be the norm of beds. Room was up kept. Had a problem with the TV and maintanence was up within 15 minutes and had it fixed. Very nice and courteous gentleman. Breakfast was typical hot breakfast. Gettysburg was an awesome experience for the weekend.

We love the Best Western Gettysburg! This was our 2nd stay here and we will be back. The staff is so kind. We had been in Hershey and arrived at Gettysburg well before check in time. We asked if it was okay to park our vehicle in the lot and walk around while we waited for check in time. They had no issue with it, but we also lucked out and they had open rooms at the moment so they checked us in right on the spot. The location can't be beat if you enjoying walking. I wanted to give a 5 star review but have to ding a star owing to some loud 'clanging' noises that I experienced in the early morning above my room also there was a disruption with the water which. Impacted my ability to shower but that was not the fault of the hotel, but rather attribute it to inclement weather that brought that about. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the service was 2nd to none. Highly recommended for a stay in Gettysburg and it was conveniently located to all of the attractions.
