A Mixed Experience with Exceptional Service I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful overall experience, though my time at the on-site restaurant was a bit of a rollercoaster. The Food If you’re stopping in for a bite, I would definitely recommend the loaded nachos—they were a highlight! Charles was excellent, very attentive, service with a smile. The pancakes and eggs were delicious. If you want to relax before exploring Austin, start here. A high end dining experience without the luxury tax.
The workers are amazing. This review is not a reflection of them or their service. So let's start with the "desert" menu. How do you "upgrade" your menu and not spell check. Secondly, who asked for this? This hotel had the best food second to the steak house in Waco, but this new menu is overpriced and underwhelming. I will definitely go to Cambria Downtown to have access to the food trucks nearby because this menu change is a disaster. Do yourself a favor and plan to order out if staying here.
Service sucks, bartender said they are closing and it was only 8:30pm and it clearly says they close 1am on a Friday night. I said its a Friday night, she said that's why it's Friday night, you don't eat at a hotel. Very rude.
Turned away by bartender 45 minutes before closing. Lied bout closing time and rudely turned us away when we called her on it she reluctantly said fine but you can’t have any food. Hours are also incorrectly advertised.
