We stayed at Ellis Hotel, Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel during a recent conference in downtown Atlanta. The hotel’s location was ideal—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access everything we needed. We found the room to be very comfortable and quiet, perfect after long days at the event. The staff at the hotel was simply amazing! However, given that the hotel is considered a Tribute Portfolio...the rooms do not give a luxury feeling and need to be updated. I recommend taking the carpet up in the rooms and the halls to give a more elevated look. Also the room design needs to be updated. The room was clean and the bed slept well. The sign also needs to be power washed. An overhaul could make this place a gem!

Overall pleasant stay. The hotel is leaning towards older side but like someone said before it’s cheaper than the ritz across the street. The staff is what made the stay special for me. They were always warm and helpful. I needed ideas of places to visit and the young man that works the front desk during the daytime was very helpful. The hotel is also located right across the street from one of the Marta stops so an easy ride from yje airport. No need to take a taxi or ride share.

This is a great hotel. Quiet and quaint in midtown surrounded by a ton of great restaurants that are very walkable. It’s about 15-20 from the airport. Gym needs work as it only has one bench and some dumbbells with two treadmills, a rowing machine and a bike. Breakfast / coffee does not start till 7 which seems so late. Rooms are nice and the staff is insanely friendly.

The experience started with checking in!! Very friendly and accommodating! Also Louis at the front desk was more then helpful with his suggestions of the area!! He made the stay more pleasant and fun!! Great place and great people! Many restaurants and entertainment close to hotel!!
