We stayed at Ellis Hotel, Atlanta, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel during a recent conference in downtown Atlanta. The hotel’s location was ideal—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access everything we needed. We found the room to be very comfortable and quiet, perfect after long days at the event. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend our trip for the weekend to explore the area more. This is a great hotel. Quiet and quaint in midtown surrounded by a ton of great restaurants that are very walkable. It’s about 15-20 from the airport. Gym needs work as it only has one bench and some dumbbells with two treadmills, a rowing machine and a bike. Breakfast / coffee does not start till 7 which seems so late. Rooms are nice and the staff is insanely friendly.
The staff at the hotel was simply amazing! However, given that the hotel is considered a Tribute Portfolio...the rooms do not give a luxury feeling and need to be updated. I recommend taking the carpet up in the rooms and the halls to give a more elevated look. Also the room design needs to be updated. The room was clean and the bed slept well. The sign also needs to be power washed. An overhaul could make this place a gem!
The room was clean, water provided was a nice addition. It would've been nice to be able to use my own media device to plug into the TV's HDMI port. They did not have the streaming services I prefer.
I stayed at the Ellis Hotel in Atlanta with my wife and kids while visiting some of the city’s main attractions. The location couldn’t have been better—most major spots like the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, College Football Hall of Fame, and Centennial Olympic Park were just a short walk away. Even the zoo was only a 15-minute drive. What really stood out, though, was the incredible customer service.
