Lovely place for a special meal. The view is wonderful, but I wish the outside of the windows were clean! I tried to take photos, but the dirt kept interfering with the camera focus. But apart from that, the venue is wonderful. The food was exceptionally good. Steak was the best I've ever eaten and cooked to perfection. Staff were first class, super efficient and very friendly, and personable.

First and foremost, I was amazed at what an adorable town Amarillo is! The Barfield is so cute, and in the middle of town near restaurants and shops. We stayed here for a couple of nights while driving across country with our dog, and they were very accommodating and friendly. I wanted to call out in particular Shinnette directed me towards coffee, each morning at the restaurant, and whose smile and Southern hospitality can light up the room! Overall very nice place and team is really trying to do their best. Some small details to help - push-to -register with Marriot for free WiFi just look very cheap, take example from The National in Oklahoma (same chain). Rest just small details - under cleaned rooms. Keep doing well and you will get there soon, overall everything pretty good

Such a great place! We came for our anniversary on Valentines Day and even though the hotel was very busy, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The food is nothing short of spectacular. We ended up ordering room service because the restaurant was full due to holiday and the service was much faster than we expected. Cocktails were equally amazing. We will definitely return and make this a favorite place to stay. Valet attendants were exceptional, I couldn't have asked for better service. Great job Barfield!

Another great hotel in the Autograph Collection. A nicely restored historic building with many interior details to admire: classy tile floors, postal chutes, signage, etc. The speakeasy bar in the basement is fun. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Front desk staff are friendly and obviously feel proud about working in such a special hotel. The neighborhood had plenty of dining options. I attended a sales meeting in the hotel and the room was perfect and breakfast/lunch service was outstanding.
